Well 2008 is upon us and we are looking at a different world from what we saw in the beginning of 2007. Google made changes to it's visible rankings of pages who it considered to be selling advertising. Google says that selling links for SEO purposes is bad, and wants advertisers to tag links with a "nofollow" tag. This lowers the links value in the eyes of all search engines.
